This seasonal mission spans Iceland and the surrounding northern territories, offering a unique flying experience through fjords, mountains, and isolated airfields.

The Story

Christmas is in danger.

Santa Claus and his faithful reindeer have fallen mysteriously ill, leaving them unable to take to the skies. Desperate for a solution, the Elves dive into the depths of the Great Library, and uncover an ancient legend.

It speaks of a hidden lake near the mythical Hvítserkur Rock, whose shimmering waters possess extraordinary healing powers capable of restoring Santa and his reindeer to full strength.

But with the Elves overwhelmed in the workshop, racing to finish millions of gifts, the Gnomes bravely step forward. Armed with determination (and a few questionable tools), they embark on a perilous journey across Iceland’s frosty wilderness.

Against all odds, the mission is a triumph.

The precious vials of magical water are now secured inside a specially prepared hangar at Ísafjörður Airport (BIIS). A custom-built stabilizer keeps the remedy perfectly preserved, waiting for the pilot brave enough to deliver it.

Christmas can still be saved… if you take to the skies.

Your Mission

Christmas now hangs by a thread, and only the bravest pilots can save it.

Your task: transport the precious healing vials from the snowy cliffs of Ísafjörður (BIIS) to Santa’s Healing House at Ivalo Airport (EFIV).

But be warned, these vials are extremely fragile. One harsh descent, one reckless turn, one “hold my beer, watch this” moment… and the magic will start draining away little by little until the vial is empty

This mission demands precision. Smooth flying. Steady hands.
Only real pilots need apply, AI pilots are strictly banned.

If you succeed, Santa and his reindeer will be back in the sky in time to save Christmas.
If you fail… well, let’s not even go there.

Suit up, captain.

Main Mission — Transporting the Healing Vial

Before you begin, good news: Santa’s picking up the bill.
He provides you with a fully prepared aircraft for every single leg — totally free. No rental fees, no wear-and-tear costs, not even a festive service charge. Just hop in and fly like the Christmas hero you are.

Your route takes you from BIIS to EFIV across six challenging legs, stopping at:
BIHN → EKVG → ENAL → ENRA → ESNQ → EFIV

The healing vials are secured inside a highly sensitive Special Stabilizer Device (SSD), a temperamental piece of tech that only stays operational when fueled with Dilithium.
Yes, that Dilithium.
No Dilithium, no stabilization… and no Christmas.

Treat the SSD with care. It may look sturdy, but it has the personality of a diva and the fragility of a soap bubble. Before you take off, remember that it gets upset easily, hates sudden moves, and will throw a fit if you sneeze too hard.

According to the Gnome Safety Handbook (Section 12, Paragraph “Please Don't Explode the Healing Vial”):
Fly low, fly gentle, and don’t scare the SSD.

Secondary Missions — Delivering Dilithium

If your SSD runs out of Dilithium, don’t panic — that’s exactly what Secondary Missions are for.

These flights allow you to restock Dilithium Units by transporting them from BIAR, EGPA, ENBR, ESNZ, and ENEV to the airports used in the Main Mission.

Secondary Missions are the only way to bring fresh Dilithium to your route, and you must keep your SSD powered if you want to continue carrying the Healing Vial.

By completing these missions, you’re not just helping yourself, you’re also helping the entire community.
Every delivery strengthens the shared cooling hangars and keeps the event running for all pilots.

Here’s how selection works:

Prize Selection Rules

• The top 10 players pick one prize each, in leaderboard order.
• Once all 10 players have chosen, 2 prizes remain in the pool.
• These two remaining prizes are then awarded to:

  • 🥈 2nd place (extra prize)

This system ensures every top-10 player wins something, while giving the very best performers a well-deserved bonus pick.

Winners have 3 days to choose their prize after notification. Late replies are moved to the end of the selection order.

*In case of a tie, the winners will be selected by random draw:
- If fewer than 10 players reach the maximum score, their ranking order will be determined by a random draw.
- If more than 10 players reach the maximum score, a random draw will take place to determine the 10 winners and their ranking order.

In-Game Bonus

All companies that participate in the event receive a financial reward based on their activity.

A company is considered a participant if it:

• Reaches a score of 600 or more on the leaderboard, or
• Completes all 5 Secondary Missions.

At the end of the event:

• You receive a credit bonus equal to 10% of your company’s freight, PAX, and industry revenues generated between Nov 26 and Dec 24.
• This bonus is automatically credited in early January.

This bonus rewards both performance and engagement, ensuring every active pilot benefits from the event.

Scoring

If you fly the Main Mission multiple times, only your best attempt counts.

Leaderboard Formula

Your final score is calculated as:

100 points for each completed Main Mission leg
+
the percentage of Healing Vial condition remaining at the end.
